Help:Grin at Us from Your User Page

The TEFLChina Teahouse will look so much nicer with a picture of you, and some of your favorite China pics, on your user page.

1. First upload your picture if it is not already here--click upload file in Toolbox in left column. (Only shows when you are logged in.)

Only upload pictures you own the copyright to and have the right to release under the Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license, such as pictures you took yourself.
Portrait: If you do not want others to use your portrait picture elsewhere, select "Private picture for my user page only" from the License drop down menu under the Summary field of the upload file form. You can also do that after upload by typing {{private}} in your image's License section—visit your image's description page by clicking the image after you have it displaying on your user page (step 2 below), and click "Edit".

2. Then type this into your user page:

[[File:Name of Your Pic.jpg|thumb|left|200px|Your Name]]

"left" may be changed to "right" or omitted
"Your Name" may be any appropriate caption
"200px" (image width) may be adjusted, anything up to the original image size, eg |150px|, |300px|, |400px|.
