Looking for a Lost Friend -- Richard Johnson and Roger Chrisman, May 19, 1998

Preliminary

  1. Half the students standing and half the students sitting.
  2. Sitting Students: Write their name on a slips of paper.
  3. Collect these names in a basket.

Instructions

  1. The Standing Students have lost their friends.
  2. The people with lost friends go to the Police (Sitting Students) and say they have lost their friend.
  3. The Police Person asks the student to describe their lost friend.
  4. The student describes their lost friend:
    1. Personality
    2. What they look like                     NO NAME!
    3. What they like to do
  5. The Police Person tries to guesses who the lost friend is.
  6. If the Police Person guesses who the lost friend is, then they take the paper, stand up (become one of the people with a lost friend), and describe their lost friend to another Police Person.
